The former president's Family Member Seeks Professional Advice from Golf Legend Woods Ahead of Professional Golf First Appearance

Emerging athlete getting ready for significant competition

The rising star boasts impressive online following

Kai Trump will have multiple well-known supporters as she begins her professional golf debut later this week.

This teenage golfer, who is related to a former US president, obtained a sponsor's invitation to play at the Annika tournament in Florida.

The former president, someone who loves golf, operates numerous international courses and often plays against Kai.

"He's fairly competent. I can't reveal details but we play some close matches," she mentioned.

The golfer shared that Trump, who cannot attend, counseled her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"My grandpa basically told me to compete and have fun," she added.

"In my eyes, he's simply a regular grandfather. He's not attending for the tournament. He's occupied with running the country, making him rather occupied."

Being non-professional, Kai has participated in a mere three competitions in 2024 and maintains ranking 461 in AJGA standings.

Yet she can get advice from golf legend, who is dating Kai's mother.

"He stands as the top athlete globally," Kai stated.

"Additionally, he's an even better human being. He suggested me to play, relax, following whatever happens."

Kai will face some of top competitors in professional golf at the Annika, such as second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.

Officials commented that her participation helps introduce golf to different demographics, especially with youth audiences.

Kai maintains a massive following and has started an exclusive clothing and lifestyle company.

Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
